We offer a wide range of services as well as a thought-provoking curriculum which challenges women to re-evaluate their thoughts, beliefs, and their behaviors while changing their lifestyles for the better of themselves and those that are around them.

OUR APPROACH
We provide empowerment through It's OK 2 B UJoin Our Squad "It’s OK 2 B U"
Its O K 2 B U is an empowerment group/healing circle that focuses on females who have been justice impacted and may have barriers to housing, employment, self-esteem, and the way she views herself. What we did or do does not define who we are or will become. There are no right or wrong answers in this group, and in this safe space we utilize what we have learned from our lives and from each other. We all have the same destination, but we have different routes for how we will get there. We are unique individuals and like fingerprints, no one has the same ones. Each is all our own. We do activities that empower us. Example vision boards, masks, movies, dinners, discussions, speakers, and things that help us to grown. We will always have something to eat and all are welcome. Each time we meet, we will go over the rules for someone who may be new to the group. |

Over the last five years our organization, StartAnew along with Minnehaha Temple # 129 and RJM (Resource Justice & Management) serviced over 500 families in December. As a collabor9ative effort a multiple agency group consisting of StartAnew, RJM, and Faith Deliverance Holiness Church has been established. We are all agencies that work in Mpls, St Paul, and surrounding areas
As the holiday season approaches, we are fundraising for our Community Holiday Campaign. This campaign will provide gifts to families in the month of December. Our goal for December is to allow 150 – 200 children to select gifts for their immediate family members of all ages such as perfume, hats and gloves, tools, ties, and blue tooth accessories, etc.…. This will encourage them to become givers as well as receivers, promotes nurturing, positive decision making, and non-violence.
The forecast for assistances this holiday has surpassed prior years demands. With families faced with unemployment and learning to live in the new normal there is a high concern for mental wellness within high poverty communities as the season approaches that post pandemic reportedly increased stress in homes.
We would be grateful if you provided your generous support of our organizations by contributing to our Community Holiday Campaign. We are requesting donations in cash, gift cards, or merchandise. Your gift will go towards purchasing holiday gifts for our event that takes place on December 9, 2022 and December 10, 2022.
